Wholemeal flour brings color and flavor to this cake and enriches it with potassium, magnesium, zinc, iron, fiber, vitamins B and E.
INGREDIENTS
100g of sugar
1 teaspoon of vanilla sugar
4 eggs
50ml of oil
1 natural yogurt (110g)
200g of wheat flour
1 teaspoon of baking powder (7g)
3 tablespoons bitter cocoa powder
METHOD
1 / Whisk together the sugar, eggs and vanilla sugar; gradually add the oil, the yogurt and beat everything until you obtain a homogeneous device.
2 / Add the whole wheat flour and the yeast, mix to obtain a homogeneous paste of liquid consistency.
3 / Pour the dough into a 20cm diameter mold, previously buttered and sprinkled with flour, cook the cake for 30 to 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 170 ° C.
4 / Let warm, unmold the cake on a rack.
5 / Here we chose to butter it with chocolate then add some vermicelli chocolate. But you can just before the presentation, put on the cake a stencil or a cookie cutter of the desired shape, sprinkle it with icing sugar and gently remove it.
Tip of the day:
For a much more airy cake, you can clarify the eggs (separate the whites from the yolks), whisk the yolks with the sugar and all of the above-mentioned ingredients and gently incorporate, finally the egg whites in the snow.
